Island Moorings was perfect for “Mom’s Day” paddling down Piper Channel. The out and back is about 4 miles. Piper meets the CC ship channel and from there the fun continues when you paddle side by side with the tankers! 

One fish, two fish, Trigger fish are biting fish!

Family and fellow surfers gathered at the pier for a memorial and burial at sea.  We all said goodbye to John “Jocko” Taylor with tears and whoops and water slaps and splashes of salt spray.  Afterwards we paddled out to catch some waves for Jocko. The Ship Channel is always an active waterway.  Craft peel off to the Port Aransas City Marina,  the Aransas and Lydia Ann Channels or continue on through.  Secret fishing spots are too numerous to count and the views are spectacular. I took a ride on the Mustang yesterday to Lydia Ann Lightouse. Thank you, Capt’n!

Marinedreams sponsored a golf team and provided event photos for many of the Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church golf tournaments.  The annual windy April event benefited the Trinity Day School.
