Marinedreams sponsored a golf team and provided event photos for many of the Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church golf tournaments.  The annual windy April event benefited the Trinity Day School.

It had humble beginnings to say the least.  In 2009 the golf course had just been completed, a portable building housed the pro shop, there was no restaurant or bar, and barely enough golf carts.   The first couple of years we used pop tents for check-in but later Suzanna Reeder purchased the big one and started a side business,  #1 Party Tent.  The talented Trinity kids sang and entertained the participants and we brought a grill to cook up the burgers for the players. The tournament grew from there and had a very successful 10 plus year run. The one-of-a kind Black Marlin elevated deck bar has come and gone, but the ol’ Newport Dunes lives on now as La Palmilla.  Hundreds of photos were taken over the years but here are just a few to remember the good ol’ days.
