Marinedreams

I love September. Today’s water was clear and calm enough to see wildlife.  Des landed a Spanish mackerel and another kayaker hooked skipjack (aka “the poor man’s tarpon”) and reported seeing...

The moon came up; dolphins were surfing, ducks were swimming and a huge tree was bobbing under the pier. I guess, it’s true, “if you don’t go, you won’t know.”

Could have been a spring day with light winds, warm temps and plenty of blue sky. Perfect for a boat ride in the flats. Reds were plentiful but not  biting today....

Gorgeous, clear water and roosting white pelicans  made this a day to document.

Time to go down under at the jetty.

One fish, two fish, Trigger fish are biting fish!
