Here’s a Dec 2009 throwback video at Horace Caldwell pier in Port Aransas. The winds were howling off shore at 40mph, the temperature kept dropping, and still …they surfed! The swell was big and lasted a few hours. Kudos to Des, Dave, Brent and other other guys. While the image quality isn’t great, it’s beautiful to see. Glad I was able to film and tough it out for a full 3 minutes on the pier!
